Difficult Operations Made Easy

Falcon’s wide range of rigs and equipment enables us to drill at angles and handle difficult and time consuming operations quickly and easily.

Our hand-held and rig mounted diamond drills have powerful motors, capable of coring holes ranging from 20mm to over 400mm in diameter. Falcon utilises a wide range of standard drill bits and many specialist bits for wet and dry diamond coring, and drilling material which may be liable to collapse.

Mining Barrel For Continuous Drilling

If the material to be drilled is liable to collapse, mining barrel is used to allow continuous drilling and removal of the cored material. Once the hole is drilled to depth, the waste material may be removed from the barrel and an appropriate sleeve installed in the hole to allow removal of the mining barrel. This method has enabled Falcon to successfully drill holes to depths exceeding 15.0 metres in one continuous operation.
